A former Israeli space security chief has sent shockwaves through the world with a stunning claim—humanity has already made contact with extraterrestrials, and they belong to a secretive galactic federation.
Haim Eshed, once the head of Israel’s Defense Ministry’s space directorate, told the Yediot Aharonot newspaper that these unidentified beings have deliberately chosen to remain hidden. “The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet,” Eshed revealed. His statements, originally published in Hebrew, quickly went viral after being translated into English by the Jerusalem Post.
Eshed, a retired general and respected professor, asserted that these advanced alien civilizations are not only observing humanity but are deeply interested in understanding the fabric of the universe. According to him, there is a long-standing relationship between human governments and the galactic federation, including agreements for joint experiments and even an underground base on Mars where American astronauts and extraterrestrial representatives supposedly collaborate.

Eshed went on to claim that the U.S. government has an official contract with these extraterrestrials, allowing them to conduct experiments on Earth. He also alleged that former President Donald Trump was fully aware of the existence of the galactic federation and had even considered revealing it to the public—only to be dissuaded out of fear of causing mass hysteria.
“They have been waiting for humanity to develop to a stage where we will understand, in general, what space and spaceships are,” Eshed explained.

NASA responded by reiterating that one of its primary missions is the search for life in the universe but confirmed that no conclusive evidence of extraterrestrial life has been found—at least, not publicly.

Eshed’s revelations are further detailed in his book, The Universe Beyond the Horizon, released in November. He insists that he waited until now to go public because societal attitudes have shifted—people are more willing to entertain the idea of extraterrestrial life than ever before.
“If I had come up with what I’m saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalized,” Eshed remarked. “Today, they’re already talking differently. I have nothing to lose. I’ve received my degrees and awards, I am respected in universities abroad.”
His claims have sparked a frenzy online. Social media users have flooded platforms with memes, while Twitter has seen an explosion of parody accounts claiming to be official representatives of the galactic federation. Some users have even jokingly requested VIP treatment from the mysterious alien alliance.
Nick Pope, a former investigator of UFOs for the British Ministry of Defense, called Eshed’s statements “extraordinary.” He speculated that this could either be an elaborate joke, a publicity stunt to boost book sales, or—perhaps most intriguingly—an insider breaking ranks with classified information.
