A mysterious triangular structure has been discovered at the highly secretive Area 51, sparking renewed interest and speculation online. Many social media users are convinced that the object could be alien tech, pointing to its unusual shape and secluded location as evidence.
The tower, estimated to stand between 150 and 190 feet tall, can be seen on Google Maps at coordinates 37.24624° N, 115.82334° W, in the Nevada desert. This area is well known for its long-standing association with UFO sightings and unexplained phenomena.

Located roughly 80 miles northwest of Las Vegas, the structure appears to have been in place for around 20 years. Despite its long presence, it has only recently gained attention thanks to satellite imagery and viral posts. Some users have described the tower as resembling a skyscraper, an exhaust vent, or even a Dyson air purifier. Others have joked that it looks like a “Toblerone trade center” or a futuristic version of the game Jenga.
The unusual appearance and location of the tower have led many to believe it might be a piece of alien tech either brought to Earth or developed using extraterrestrial knowledge. Its resemblance to the monolith from the 1968 science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey has further fueled these comparisons.
However, not everyone is convinced by the extraterrestrial theories. Some viewers have proposed more grounded explanations, suggesting the tower might be a radar installation or flight control tower, given its proximity to a runway. One user speculated it could be a “multi-phase radar array” designed to track small drone-sized aircraft.
While its true purpose remains unknown, the tower continues to attract widespread attention. Whether it’s an experimental military installation or a remnant of alien tech, the mystery surrounding this Area 51 structure shows no signs of fading anytime soon.
