Two men were arrested for trying to sneak into Kyle Field Stadium during the 2024 Lone Star Showdown without tickets. Their method? They dressed as construction workers, complete with reflective vests and hard hats, hoping to blend in.
The details took a humorous turn. According to arrest records, their fake IDs featured their photos but listed absurd names: “Harry Azcrac” and “Duncan McCockiner.” The poorly executed attempt didn’t fool security, and both were detained. They were booked into Brazos County Jail for Criminal Trespass and released the next day, according to jail records.
Texas A&M Police Department (TAMU PD) shared updates from the game, and their tweets quickly gained attention on X, formerly Twitter.
Other incidents that night added to the spectacle. A man riding a longhorn around campus with his dog left after being informed it violated university rules. Another individual was ejected for trying to use a fake ticket. Perhaps most memorable, an intoxicated man was released to his “sober wife,” a phrase that’s become a running joke after similar incidents earlier this season.
Social media replies suggested jail might have been kinder than facing the aftermath at home. As usual, Kyle Field Stadium remained the center of unforgettable—and occasionally ridiculous—moments.
